How to create an i-lincc
1. Click on the "Create i-lincc" link on the left hand side of your user account page and then select the type of i-lincc you wish to create. Currently there are three types of i-linccs you can choose from; a named private i-lincc, a free i-lincc and an essential service i-lincc.
2. The named private i-lincc is meant for personal use. It does not involve a cost and you can choose what you would like the i-lincc to be called as long as it is not in use already. If you press the "Check availability" button the system will tell inform you if the i-lincc is already taken. All private named i-linccs have a ".me" suffix appended to them. Once you are done chooosing a name, press "Proceed" and the i-lincc will be created and you will be directed to a page to allow you to edit the content associated with the i-lincc.
3. The free i-lincc is meant for private use. It does not involve any cost and has a random six character name (alternating between characters and numbers). You cannot directly choose a name for a free i-lincc but tell the system to generate a new name until you are satisfied with the name. Once you are done, press "Proceed" and the i-lincc will be created and you will be directed to a page to allow you to edit the content associated with the i-lincc.
4. The essential service i-lincc is designed for commercial use and thus has a cost associated with it. You can choose the name of the i-lincc and choose a suffix, from the list available, for the i-lincc. The currently available suffixes are all the two character country codes. Once you are done chooosing a name, press "Proceed" and the i-lincc will be created and you will be directed to a page to allow you to edit the content associated with the i-lincc.
